The transporter and the vans are in the wagon thread. They were all part of a hugely impressive collection of commercial vehicles.

I don't know enough about Land Rovers to know if it is genuine.

I agree the low light Minors have a unique charm and I love the dashboard. Much more interesting than the simplified dashboard that came later.

Love the eclectic choice of vehicle's. For me it would have to be one of the escort mk1s or the 6R4. Certainly spoilt for choice. I've seen plenty of Vauxhall engines shoehorned into other vehicles but never a BMW. Unless it was out of a monaro vxr spitting out 400bhp plus why would you do it.

Came across a very nice Alvis today. These pre-war ones are just that little bit nicer than their
rivals I think, and the 60s TA to TF models are at least as classy as the DB Astons. Later models include armoured cars and Scorpion tanks !

The Dakar is one of my old neighbours and I recall him building it in the 90s.

It's changed a bit since then, now on big Murican V8 with turbos and megasquirt.
