Lovely cars
especially loved the 2CV - but I am biased
my Mum had one - at my persuasion - when I learned to drive
I loved that car
my Dad ended up insisting on selling it and he didn;t think it was safe
I didn;t agree
I mean - it stopped pretty much every time you put your foot on the brake - probably over 90% of the time
and it always stopped the second time if it didn;t the first time
except once and I don;t think I mentioned that one - and it did stop the third time
anyway - best off road car I have ever had - I was a teenager and probably took it a few olaces I shouldn;t have
but it never failed

I nearly brought one years ago but it smoked when i gave it beans on a test drive so I passed it up.
While its got cheap wheel trims on, the trim and look suggests a more than budget model, i may be wrong.

Yeaes ago the MD of a supplier of ours had one. It was getting long in the tooth but still in vgc. He said he'd had it since new, it had cost him very little over its life and was very very reliable....and a lovely car to be in

My boss had a Lexus as a company car, albeit a lesser model than the one in the picture. He loved it, to the extent that when the time came to hand it back he kept on delaying picking something as he couldn't have the same again. They were almost at the point of sending the repo man out !

The MD of one of my suppliers got himself a Lotus. His engineers laughed that they were always having to rescue him after some major or minor breakdown. Eventually he got rid of it and bought a Lexus, saying "I'm not interested in cars, I just want something quiet and reliable."

Very nice condition BL 1300, this one the higher spec MG version. It's good to see a few of the more run of the mill cars being preserved. A common enough car back in the day (less so in MG or vanden plas versions) but far less popular now than Moggie Minors or Minis
