Moggies are one of those cars which have a highly distinctive exhaust note. The little "praaap" as the gear changes.

Its in central Africa, I believe.

TBH I was never a moggie fan. Its so rare removed from Issigonis' actual designed its a real hodge podge. Crudely widened but only after the production tooling had already been made, hence the ridge up the middle. The envisaged flat 4 discarded for an inline. The original clean styling horribly bastardised. It was a real lash up.

But then it wouldn't have had character!🍿🍿🍿
A real jelly mould of a car!🤣🤣🤣

Heading to the A14 on the outskirts of Ipswich this morning were about half a dozen Austin Westminster or Wolseley 6/110 variants.

I have a soft spot for the various big Farinas. I like the styling, and "gentleman's carriage" ambience, and I think they are mostly straight sixes too, the format I'm most keen on having owned a Vitesse. Not driven nor ridden on one, but have driven / ridden and liked smaller Oxford or Riley variants on the shape
