Can't work out if this is an old racing car of some sort or a modern recreation, but It looked rather exotic. Only saw it from a distance zoomed in on a phone. Any ideas?

I see this on a regular basis, but not at this location
Whether the owner has sold it, or it’s just there for now, l have no idea?
The owner also has a ‘Bay’ VW camper (in need of TLC) & a 2-door Range-Rover (‘F’ plated, with a VM diesel)
