Indeed. More money spent on stickers and Frenching the rear lights than on properly repairing the rot. The bodywork looks like a relief map of Ross Kemp's scalp.

I was overtaken (but only just) by a tired looking and sounding Porsche 928 this afternoon.The engine seemed to be putting more effort into making a V7 (or fewer) type sound rather than useable power. I'm sure it's one I've seen parked up a driveway near Haughley and presumed 'retired' from the road.

Nikasil bores, IIRC. Or Alusil. Something like that. No one other than Kawasaki ever seem to have made them work properly.

I quite like the Herald. They weren't brilliant cars, not at all advanced and quite orthodox, but I can remember when they were everywhere.
