I thought the shape was vaguely familiar.

You sound like my ex wife!

Getting tyres fitted yesterday there was a MK 1 Fiesta, some kind of rough looking track car, bet it is an absolute hoot to drive. There was also a 2.0 P11 Nissan Primera that one of the lads that worked there was going to turn into a touring car replica. Had the previous P10 eGT and was a fantastic car. Probably dull as a dishwasher too some, but people that owned them knew they were a really underrated gem, more so compared to the competition back then.

I seen this 2CV on my walk. Lovely car, terrible parking. Why don't they remove the window frame and knock down the front wall so they can drive it right into the house!

Growing up, 👆🏻 was our first new car. A130 SEU. Loved that thing. Really did.

Last one I saw out in the wild was ages ago, so deffo pre-covid. Was a red van type one.

There's a few around here. There's at least another one in the town, it's white.

I remember staying for a few days at a campsite between lockdowns in the COVID days and happening to be there when the Irish 2CV owners' club was there. About 14 2CVs, a few Dyanes and also a few C15 camper conversions who were accompanying them. I have a picture of my 205 in the middle of them all but it's on another computer.

I like the 2CV. The engineering hits the brief like almost no other car since.

I loved their adverts back in the day. On of the Jap makers ran an add with a tick list all the optional extras on a beemer or whatever which were all standard on their own car. Citroen did the same for their 2CV showing all the things it didn't have, initially various luxuries, then it had "radiator -no, fanbelt -no" then "distributor -no" Hang on, what? Cleverly both cylinders spark each stroke but only the one with petrol in it actually lights - clever or what?
