It is a miracle that that Toyota hasn't been turned into a rally car, or at least been seriously modified by now. Lightweight and RWD, with room for an Opel redtop or Ford Zetec. Very popular here for a particular type of clientele here, and worth a lot of money now.

I am pleased that it hasn't all the same. I am probably odd as a lover of basic cars!

Many years ago, getting into the back seat of one of those belonging to a neighbour who gave me a lift to Sunday School every week, my foot went through the floor as it was so rusty!

A lot of them over here were turned into short oval hot rods with the Vauxhall or Ford 2L engines.
