While I had a 66 Countryman with an twin carb 1100 transplanted in it, that was pokey enough but a friend had a 1300 in hers...you simply couldn't pull away quickly at junctions, the tyres couldn't grip and it just used to bounce and tramp itself along until it found some grip.
A tad buttock clenching when you got it wrong.with traffic bearing down on you . Those were the days when you thought of something and just did it

I wish id been there to see it close up when they finally collared him. It was a helluva thing apparently.

Advert states 22k, MOT history shows it's going to be 220k. Could be a type of course but ...
Indeed. In the full description they say 220,000 but sceptical me thinks the ‘typo’ in the summary description might not be such an accident (given that it’s repeated twice).
