There is some real appeal there. Much much cheaper than an E-type, newer (albeit more complexity / electrickery I guess) and still some with manual gearboxes even as V12s I think. A big car though, and likely not trouble free motoring nor easy DIY
I think the E type is overrated myself. Handsome, but even by the standards of the day not all that quick for exotica (the launch oress fleet were specially prepared and 10mph quicker than production examples) amd no more reliable.

As hard as it is to state, as I'm not a fan of the marque, the rival Porch 928 was undoubtedly a better/more reliable car, especially if the owner wanted a 'day to day' car?
