Just searching through You Tube, when I came across this most cringeworthy clip of Hugh Cornwell on GMTV. At this point in his career, he had just left the Stranglers and now finds himself on a beach in Benidorm. I can see Hugh looks rather uncomfortable!

I used to love the stranglers. Saw hugh and them in the 80s (even saw the new version without hugh not too long ago).

Like a journalist once said "it would be easier to replace mick jagger than hugh cornwell".
