@Berties, andouillette is that the sausage with the look and smell of faeces?
Offal and nose-to-tail eating have gone from peasant food to fine dining. It makes sense to not waste edible parts of animals. Bone marrow on toast, heart, tripe soup to name but three. Yumtus as 3bm might say.
Sea urchins look pretty unappealing
How about these bad boys

Quite a lot, according to my taste buds. It's only oranges boiled to shíte with a million tons of sugar, what's not to like?
For me it's a case of hierarchy, there are the decent bits of meat is choose first. If none of those are available liver could be a choice. If nothing lower down the hierarchy were available until we hit the layer than contains cockroach heads, if eat them. I try to be pragmatic.will you eat offal such as liver, kidney etc?
i will eat almost anything but that unfertilised eggs and tripe i'm not too sure about. although the tripe is just 'various offal from farm animals' so i might give it a try if it was served up to me as i will eat liver, kidney etc
