One-off random songs that you love

Those songs where you're not interested in the band, the album, etc, you just hear a song and it strikes a chord.

Having just watched Lucky Number Slevin, it's the song playing at the end credits, Kansas City Shuffle by J. Ralph. Not sure exactly how you'd describe it, some sort of 70's funk, perhaps?

was number one in 1967, when i was born, so i love that song too. also reminds me of my dad who died in '96 (he explained to me about the 'beautiful people'! )
