I have so many and such a short memory span that I virtually have to get an email each time to remind me. Do you write them down, have a good memory, just have one-word fits all?

I came across this password memoriser. Is it good, safe?

Linky doesn't work, rich p. Well at least for me.

I have about 4, and use them depending on whether a site demand letters and number, or a certain number of characters.

So I don't forget them, I just struggle to remember which I'e used where. Having two regular usernames adds to the odds....

I tend to have a different one for each site, so have loads of them. I email them to myself with a codeword that tells me content of email. Then I just search email when I need it.

I have an assortment of password types.
Many are made up of short strings of memorable letter, numbers and punctuation marks in upper and lower case.

I make up longer passwords by joining or overlapping a number of the short ones so I only need to remember which short strings I used and how.

eg:

1. abcde
2. 12345
3. ABCDE
4. ?$%("

I can then over lap 1 and 4 and add 2 to get a?b$c%d(e12345

Obviously these are not the strings I use, just examples. My short strings of code are around 7-10 figures long and I have ore then four of them.

I also write them down and hope I don't loose the notebook. However I also make most of my passwords that have a meaning to me so that helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I stick mine to the bottom of my monitor - so no fumbling around for notebooks and no repeated passwords for the sites that involve money changing hands.

I use a program called Splash ID. It uses 256 bit blowfish encryption and means I only need to remember one password. It's also syncs with my phone so I always have my passwords with me.
