Thanks mate, it's hibernating for the winter now so no rush.
It's an easy fix anyway.

I ended up purchasing a 2016 Giant Escape 2 from an online supplier because of the discount offered and luckily I ended up purchasing the right size. I've introduced myself at my LBS and will probably purchase a bike from them in the future but in this case it came down to price and availability.

I didnt unfortunately. I was working away at the time and it was kinda an impulsive birthday present and I got wrapped in to the fact the bike was discounted with limited stock.
