I cycled to work through a thunderstorm this morning. I'd give it 5 out of 5 for rain intensity (road surface took on river-like appearance, potholes under water etc) but only 1 out of 5 for quality of lightning and thunder.

No rain here in Herts yet. Although, It did rain overnight. So a little damp, but fresh ride to work this morning.

Currently overcast and mild. I would rather it rain now while im stuck at work for the next 10hrs

Been there, done that, got the soggy tee-shirt.

As I crouched in an exposed moor land field, with my bike propped up some feet away to act as the highest thing around, all I could think was, if I get struck by lightning, my Mum'll never let me hear the end of it...
