To the OP, if you want a carbon bike, get a carbon bike. Just an £800 carbon bike may not be as well specced as an £800 alu or steel bike

I have a 2012 Cube and I use it for my commuter/winter bike now. Great bike and hope to have it for a few more years to come, did 60miles on it today
Much prefer my Giant though, different ride and it just performs better imho.
Ride it for a few miles see if it suits
