Thinking of buying a 29er to commute

But thinking of converting it to single speed and putting a ridge fork on it like the ones on on one site

Looking for something simple 29"wheels hydraulic disc brakes and singe speed

My lbs shop has one on sale at the moment

What's peopls thoughts on this bike

I'd just get the pompino with the pompetine fork and for simplicity BB7 brakes.

The pomp's are truly great frames.
