I am going to say something completelly ignorant having never used nor ever even seen these but IMO, they are a waste of money!
You would be better off buying some decent proper bike lights if you don't already have some and then for your wheels get some spoke reflectors. Lidl were recently selling them, maybe they have some left, people swear by them and say they are a bargain.

I've got two Spokelits and I think they are brilliant. I lost one off my bike last summer (should have removed it as it wasn't used for months) so when the DunRun came around I invested in two more.
Reflectors only work when light bounces back towards the source. So they look great in flash photography or when you pass in front of someone's headlights, but when you want to be seen from a side street so someone doesn't pull out in front of you, you need active not passive lighting.
