My mate had some trailing cherry tomatoes last year in hanging baskets they were fantastic, great taste and a massive crop, i think i might get some of those this year.

Last year I managed to grow some stuff in a tiny yard out the back of our terraced house. Made some planters out of a couple of old futon bases, put loads of compost in them. We got quite a good crop.

This year were going for it big time, I finally got a half plot on an allotment, can't wait until the ground unfreezes so we can begin to start planting stuff.

Just have a fence to shift and bobs your uncle. :cycle:

Everything now ordered.

Spuds - desiree, rocket, one of the maya varieties and some heritage ones (highland burgundy, one of the blue ones too).

Every year I grow a few unusual ones in addition to the staples and regular crops, and sometimes an unusual one makes it in to become regular. So sweet potatoes are propagated from an old tuber each year and grown again, for example.

Anyway, this years wierdy plants are going to be yard long beans (green ones and red ones), couve tronchuda, and collared greens.

I think that the total number of varieties of veg and fruit plants this year is somthing in the region of 115. But I may have under-counted.
