:boxing:

I've got an allotment and a small garden, and a passion for growing odd things. I wouldn't for an instant suggest that my way of doing things (why grow two varieties of carrot when you can grow eleven, you simply have to grow at least eight sorts of tomato, etc.) is efficient or sensible.

What else are you growing this year Gromit?

You'll need full time pest control operatives with that lot in your garden!;)

Everything now ordered.

Spuds - desiree, rocket, one of the maya varieties and some heritage ones (highland burgundy, one of the blue ones too).

I grew a mayan variety spud last year and they were just lovely. I'm still digging other spuds (Desiree) from last year out of the ground despite every book saying you should'nt leave'em there through the winter- they are fine though (I have nowhere to store them so have to leave them in the ground). Still got loads of parsnips and leeks left, but the pigeons have casued havoc with all the brassicas.

I haven't ordered anything yet but I guess will have to soon and plan the rotation- the garlic usually gets planted in early - mid Feb.
