It's a bit more complicated than that...
Last year's (or was it the year before last's?) apple-fed pork shoulder. Sweet meat, crispy skin, moist and juicy, and most importantly NOT TURKEY!

Why's 10 first, with 9 last?

Choice of goose, hand caught & plucked or turkey(hand plucked).
Snapping the neck, in ond clean go isn't easy, but better than simply using an axe to do the job.

My missus doesn't like turkey. We have just broken new ground by picking up a beautiful beef joint for our Christmas dinner from a motorway service station shop!
(Gloucester Services, M5 Northbound). There's something you don't hear very often.
