Ortlieb pannier repair (clipping mechanism)

I was having problems with the mechanism to clip it onto the pannier today, and it finally fell off one side. I managed with the help of a friend to put it back on, but now I notice that there is a crack in the rail. (I carry tons of work stuff occasionally and don't want it to fail miles from home I was lucky today).

I've found this does it match this rail (I can never remember what the differences between QL1 and QL2. They are back roller ones, about 7+ years old.

I can't answer your question, but I've heard fantastic things about Ortlieb customer service, might be worth shooting them a quick message before parting with any cash

The German website shows spare parts are available.

I'd expect no less from a quality manufacturer, but it's still good to see.

Your panniers are seven years old, but the warranty is five years, so it might be worth contacting Ortlieb before parting with any money.

I had great luck contacting Ortlieb in the USA. They were terrific helping me with a broken part.
