As has been said, the legal eagle should deal with all aspects of the claim for you - they should be looking to get you an interim payment for obvious things like the bike, clothing, etc and getting the insurer to organise specialist physio (once you're able) regardless of how long the actual injury part of the claim takes (and that will be months / years as they'll need a prognosis from the medics)

Hey there...no advice but heartfelt best wishes for a full and speedy recovery

Best of luck on getting back on a bike in a speedy manner. Don't rush it though.

Hope there's no complications, on either side, post accident.

You take extremely good care of yourself!

Maybe a weird reply, but broken femurs came up today in some data we were looking at at work, and they are some serious business!

I am delighted that you are recovering well, but it could well have an impact in later life. So it is worth having some perspective on that, whilst the bike issue is addressed.

I could have a look for literature if your lawyer thinks it is of interest. I'lI let you know of we publish anything. I hope that foesndosoudoe too alarmist!

Cheers!

My advice would be do exactly what your physio tells you to do. It's worth it even if it aches a lot to start with.

I think I would prefer a turbo trainer to an exercise bike myself, but definitely getting your legs moving when you can would be good. For the bike, Spa have some nice steel framed bikes in their range

It sounds like you have all the bases covered and I wish you a speedy recovery. Its a bummer about the cycling though. Especially with the nice weather coming. But take your time with your recovery. regardless of how frustrating it gets.
