Outdoor Christmas lights?

As I said every little helps....

I don't use any electricity - my bill if £0.00 each quarter (Mind you my neighbour complains his bills are double what they should be......I have no idea why that is....Honest those wires were there when I moved in

I thought they were a bracken plant. My mate asked me to look after them whilst he was on "holiday" for 6 months

I don't leave any devices on standby other than my PVR which has to be left on to do its recordings at all times of the day and night.

Ha - it turns out that I also accidentally left a gas ring on 'standby' after making my porridge this morning! It was turned down low so I did not notice it until I walked into the kitchen in the dark.

Ha - it turns out that I also accidentally left a gas ring on 'standby' after making my porridge this morning! It was turned down low so I did not notice it until I walked into the kitchen in the dark.

I once did that, cooked lunch and then we went camping for the weekend, returned home in darkness 2 days later and found the ring on low!

I've frequently left it on whilst we have eaten, then realise as I take the dishes back to the kitchen.

I don't have any heating on downstairs so I was wondering where the warm air was coming from as I walked down into the kitchen. It is surprising how much heat was coming off a smal gas ring on its lowest setting!
