:hyper:

I've been having saddle troubles for the best part of a few months now and I've barely been on the bike this year. For the few shorts rides that I've cycled, I've been in pain which has sucked. Anyway, I got out on the bike tonight. The weather was perfect: not too cold, not too warm. One hour and four minutes later and I've cycled 15.7 miles, it might not be that much and it's certainly not as much as I've done before but it's a massive improvement from the short jaunts I've been doing recently.

I've decided that this route will be my new training route, it's got a good combination of up hills, down hills and flats - there's also some great options that I can change to extend the route as I progress

I have also just discovered the joys of Strava  Here's tonights ride - http://app.strava.com/activities/58024937

And if that wasn't enough, I'm going into Glasgow tomorrow to purchase a second hand bike which has a frame which will hopefully be my single speed commuter project ^_^

I'm so excited :wahhey:

Little bit of saddle pain but I'm putting that down to my lack of riding but apart from that, it's all good!

Fingers crossed that's the end of it.

Did you ever find out what was causing the pain?

Nope. I got some clotrimazole cream prescribed from the Doc that seemed to have helped but I still don't know exactly what the problem was!
