Have you tried the Aldi own brand Weetabix? I can be atrociously snobby about own brand vs branded and I am also widely regarded as one of the countries foremost Weetabix connoisseurs but I have to say that I have switched to the Aldi own brand Weetabix, there really is no difference.

no i have not as not a great weetabix lover

Mugshot

Cracking a solo.

Give them a shot, I'm more than happy with them and I can be a right twat about things like that. Have you got the crunchy nut cornflakes in your cupboard? I liked those although there is a difference, less sweet more nutty if I remember rightly, it's been a little while since I had them as I normally just plough through weetabix.

We once bought two novelty cereals from Lidl/Aldi. One was called "Choco flakes" or similar, with a cartoon monster on it. The other was called "Cappuccino Flakes" with a sophisticated couple on the box, think After Dinner Mints commercial. The contents of the two boxes were entirely indistinguishable, and the ingredients and nutrition facts were identical.

Chocolate cornflakes, basically.
