Couple of weeks time will be starting the Hadrians cycle route, need to replace my padded shorts any recommendations for a decent pair without paying a fortune,

How much is a fortune? Ive found dhb shorts to be good, available via wiggle. Pay more and you get a better quality pad

I second that, dhb Pivot liners are VERY good, i.e have the pad in the right place EVERY time opposed to Endura which quality declined lately
 
You can pick up Livestrong bib shorts cheap at the moment (I wonder why that would be? :whistle:). Personally I also find Lusso bib shorts comfortable. I'm assuming by cheap you mean around £40-50 and not >£100.
