Interesting to see the Copenhagenize blog today quote a study that estimates that each km travelled by bike actually earns the city $1.10 or roughly £2.60 per mile.
Wonder how much money cyclists earn for the UK if this is replicated here and how much of it they'd have to pay you back in tax rebates to encourage more people to use bikes?
60p per mile still leaves them with a nice £2.00 for nothing and would pay out £12 a day for a 20 mile commute.
Dream on.
