Locking my new bike up at work, it has to be loced up against a metal rail. It's also in a locked shed, which is great for security, however the metal rail will -and has - damaged very slightly, my otherwise pristine paintwork. Does anyone know of any product like a very thin, clear, sticky back plastic that I could use to protect the front fork in particuar, which seems to take the brunt of it. It has to be something weather-proof, obviously, that isn't going to turn up at the edges and will not, in itself, damage the paintwork.

I would appreciate any suggestions.

Please sir, I know this one!
