No, but there will be massive aesthetic problems. Just watch out 'cos some expensiver brakes have little bearings rather than bushings which you do not want to lose!

Powder coat is actually quite thick (at least it is if it's done right). Might cause a problem.

'Course, it'd be really annoying if the springs, nuts and bolts didn't match. And the blocks - can you get white ones?
