Fair weathered,fair minded but easily persuaded.
I would also say it's all about enjoyment and experimenting. I can white away hours doing watercolours and most never see the light of day but I have enjoyed my time and always walk away with a smile on my face and a plan hatching in my head for my next idea.

Wow!
As somebody who cant draw a straight line, or a curved one, and who struggles to get magnolia emulsion looking alright on a wall, never mind "proper" painting, I am lost in admiration for anyone who can conceive, and then execute, paintings like that.

Yep, started just over two years ago and now I've moved from Solihull up to Notts next to @TreeHuggery after she invited me to an art trail. my art is starting to do well now. Started in oil bit changed to acrylics bcoz it suits my style better *.
*I'm crap at oils.
Reduced my mortgage by half in the hope that one day I can give up my job and just do the art. or even just take a part time job, dog walking or something.

Seems like I was given a new chance, I don't want to waste it. If nothing else comes of it, at least i have an art room (prices are way better up here, not only did I chop nearly 40k off my mortgage I also upgraded from a one bed flat to a two bed house with garden.
