Which is why I find it odd that anyone would plan to attack it.
Parson's Green is only three stops from Earl's Court, which is a much bigger and busier station where other branches of the District Line and The Piccadilly Line all interchange. Had it gone off there today there would have been far more disruption to the network (although your pub meet would have been ok). If one had to guess and if the device was on a timer, then it wouldn't be unseasonable to assume Earl's Court was the intended target and it just went of a few minutes early (or the train was a few minutes late).

I would assume the bomb was sufficient to kill or maim everyone in the single carriage only. At which point it makes no odds where it is if you sssune the carriage was full during rush hour.

As such an irregular tube user I was more worried by the fact I had no idea where Parsons Green was or which line it was on.

Actually I didn't even know there was a station called Parsons Green.
I lived in Parsons Green for a few years. In all but nane it's Fulham.

My son used to use Parsons green pretty often. He cycles now. I know which one I worry about more and in truth, it's all fairly low on the worry scale.

I think you're crediting the perpetrator with more planning ability than they would appear to possess.
I don't think you are crediting them with enough. Parsons Green at that time of the morning is busy a few minutes later and Earls Court as has already been stated would have been rammed. Their timing may have been spot on, their timing equipment however may not have been.
