Part time businesses

He has a lock up, but runs it from home. He spends 2 or 3 hours a day working, and employs his Missus. He's ex paramedic and dibble, so knows what kit he wants and gets a lot of it manufacturered just for him.

Deltakits is a very part time business I started 10 years back, still going well and still part time.

Mark F has mentioned one aspect not many think on. If you have good business idea and it works you will find people copying you and trying to cash in on your idea. This happened in a business I started up and was successful at. They all failed because we had specialised and they had not the gumption to see that our work flow was efficient with no or little waste and was set up for one product only. We had a production line geared to what we did but this was not obvious to an outsider.

I get all sorts of stuff from people on the internet telling me that they earn $20,000 a month without actually getting out of bed.

One day I might give it a go.
