I have just found one of these bikes built in 1893

It's in a prive collection and not for sale at the moment, but.............

Wow, no idea how on earth you turned that one up, especially as it's in a private collection, but it must have been pretty good detective work! I hope they at least let you borrow it for special events and displays.

I'm looking forward to your Peregrine relaunch, I'm really getting into old bikes and traditional ones, so owning a Peregrine would be quite something

No, the ones I'm currently building are 1896 replicas.

When you say 'not for sale at the moment' are you planning to send the lads round, or will you see if they'll part-ex for a couple of tall bikes and an H-van?

Nah, I've just spent another £200 on the H so that's not going anywhere until I can drive it.

They are little chains attached to a spoke so you don't loose your valve caps

Wow, we should have those now, and then the ultra keen could brag about having THEIR little chains made of carbon fibre and unobtanium, while the rest of us could mutter about ponces and stick with stainless steel for touring durability....
