Passed again ...

Just got passd by another roadie who made me look look like I was going backwards. And he didn't say hello.

Still he missed the lovely murmuration of starlings I was watching over the flats.

And his chain looked a bit slack ...

Could not have been going very fast if you had time to notice his chain.

I enjoy riding my bike fast and slower, maybe he was on a fast day.

We got scalped by a fat lad on a Bianchi today. We just let him go and carried on at our own pace. then overtook him as he got off to walk, panting like a dog with the death rattle 100 yards later. He muttered something about dogs fornicating or something. Hubster said it was f*****g whippets, and was very pleased with that.

A while ago, I was being reeled in by a bunch of roadies whilst pedalling along on my Hardtail SL4. Just as they thought they were going for the full speed pass, I turned sharp left onto a bridleway across a field. By the time they got to the café in Salcey Forest, I was sitting there drinking my coffee....

Yes, it was only two small groups, joining and dviding, but breathtaking all the same. A wonderful spectacle.
