Interesting. Have often wondered about portugal for cycling. Though very close it appears to be pretty off the radar.

Interesting. Have often wondered about portugal for cycling. Though very close it appears to be pretty off the radar.
I've been to North Portugal for a summer holiday 2 years in a row, we went for walks so didn't cycle, however the Portuguese lady who looked after the place we stayed in told me that it was very popular with British cyclists. she had a big van and said that she used this to take the cyclists "many miles away, sometimes into Spain" so they could cycle back.
