They are a pale imitation of themselves nowadays! I saw them at Colne Blues festival last year and thought they were truly awful. Self-indulgent and a million miles from the band they started out as, they are worse than a Dr Feelgod tribute band, so in that respect, they are failures at their own franchise! I saw Wilco there this year and he was far, far better than the current Feelgoods.

The new lead singer, incidentally, is a nice guy and a reasonable singer but he isn't Lee and he isn't from Saarfend (he's from Sunderland!)

The two Feelgood albums I would unhesitatingly recommend are Malpractise and Let It Roll. Completely different to each other but each sublime in its own way.
