Got this e-mail today which initially looks quite convincing, complete with the PP logo and layout.
On closer inspection it is full of spelling and grammatical errors.
Is this another phishing scam doing the rounds? My AOL e-mail account gets targeted by similar every day! In addition to those from my nubile young neighbour who is obviously too shy to tell me in person that she likes older men .

I got a PayPal hack about 3 years ago.
To be fair PayPal did sort it out and paid me back within 3 days.
But once bitten and all that....so I gave it up, no PayPal anymore for me.
Blimey, I never even suspected AOL email still existed after all these years. I think the first time I ever went online was using an AOL client on a free floppy disc with a a magazine. I gave up when they started wanting money from me!
Yup, Still going . My AOL account still going after 20 odd years. Like the OP when I started you could just use your name for an email address.

Since my Nigerian friend stopped emailing me about the $20 000 000 he needed to move out of the country I only get alerts from Barclays, Virgin and Nat West. As I don't do internet banking and have never had accounts with two of those three, and it was many a year since I had an account with the other one, I spot them as they come in and delete them without even reading them.
