At end of lease, depending on who you lease from they may charge for any “damage”.
As do PCP cars if you decide not to purchase them, and even Motability.

This is a fact of life for every form of car acquisition where you don't actually purchase the vehicle.

PCP seems to be a huge cash cow for dealers , even on a second hand cars.

Whilst one can argue the toss
many ways, a little over ten years ago as a stop gap I bought a Saab 95 with 70,000 miles on it for £2500. 10 or 12 years, and 110,000 more miles I still have it, albeit the engine rebuild cost as much as the purchase price. Complicated loan arrangements? well you can piss on that!

I drove a 10yr old (£500) Fiesta for 5yrs that gave me very little financial trouble compared to the 5yr old Focus that replaced it (at massive overall cost)

I've now got a 12yr old newer model Fiesta so will see how long that lasts :whistle:
