Over the last couple of weeks I have been trying peanut butter (crunchy) and still not convinced by it .

What do others think about it ?

I used to love it as a youngster. Not so keen any more even though I still like peanuts.

Peanut butter and Jam sarnies are the finest and only food that the USA has added to the pantheon of global cuisine.

(but only if the PB is crunchy and the J is blackcurrant)

Love it, have it on toast most mornings.

Prefer crunchy, but currently working through a big tin of Proper Nutty slightly salted, which is halfway between crunchy and smooth, they call it "smunchy".

Made in Yorkshire. Got mine in Morrisons.

Whole Earth is good but has added palm oil.

Meridian 100% nuts stuff is good but pricey.
Aldi do a copy of the Meridian stuff much cheaper and just as good.

Try it with thin layer of Vegemite (or Marmite if you must) underneath then the peanut butter on top.

Yeah, the Aldi stuff is really good for the price.

(Say no to Palm Oil, peeps! )

Not so much the stuff in jars but groundnut ( as it's known here) soup is very popular, usually with chicken but you can do vegetarian version.

Usually eaten with Fu-fu (as here) which is pounded boiled plantain, a little like mashed potatoes.
