I have learnt - the hard way maybe - that there are two very distinct species of humanoid on this planet: Homo sapiens and Homo forumensis. The two don't interbreed and have very different behaviour patterns. Curiously, nearly every individual of H. forumensis has a doppelganger in the H. sapiens group, though the two are very different in actual temperament. No doubt David Attenborough will be along shortly, crouching and speaking in whispers, to explain it all...

+1. I agree with that, a lot.

well then you're both wrong. Typing this stuff is one thing - living in three dimensions is another. We're all both, or, rather, many different manifestations of the same things.

Not surprised he's gone. There are some sad people on this board. The majority are great but a small minority who are on all the time ruin it sometimes. If someone says black. They say white just for the sake of it.

Quite a few have chips on thier shoulders about various things. Doesn't matter what you do for a living. If you've got 2 bob or 10 million it shouldn't matter as everyone on here has a common interest.

Rant over. I'm away out for dinner

Come back peanut!!!

I am going to have to drink at least 2 bottles of wine before I try and comment on this post Dell...

Thank you for the motivation to drink

I always thought we, as individuals, existed in four dimensions, time being the fourth.

Don't tempt Dellzeqq! You need to read this Speicher, it's called Warped Passages http://www.amazon.co.uk/Warped-Pass...=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1258302710&sr=1-1

(awaits inevitable jokes from the punketeers)

I hope Fnaar does not read the index! :laugh:It is one of those books on Amazon that you can turn the pages and read inside!

An excellent link Marinyork. I am always fascinated by the Science Fiction that involves time travel.

Well well! Perhaps Dell (alias Simon) is a prime example of my (albeit tongue-in-cheek :o) doppelganger hypothesis. I have met the bloke in Real Life™ several times (maybe he chooses to forget this fact, but it's true all the same) and I think his persona is markedly different from his foruma.

Possibly the same is true of me. I haven't met many other CCers in Real Life™ so I can't judge them nor can they judge me...:becool::wacko:
