Pecking order

I don't believe in a 'pecking order', it being based on a farmyard metaphor.
All I can say is that some animals are more equal than others.

I have long wondered this and imagine that I am probably somewhere at the bottom of the pile.

I have noticed various things over the years, little things mainly, but things like, for example, two people can say the same thing/give the same answer to something, but despite being the first to say it, that individual can be totally ignored just because they aren't 'popular' or whatever, whilst the second person who says it is treated completely differently, as if the first never existed. Just one example, and a small thing maybe, but certainly you can see people being treated differently over certain things.

Another one, take deleted messages, I don't get very many these days, but when I do, I often point out that others have already said the same or roughly the same before, and its probably true..... But they weren't moderated at the time......
That said, I did get a post reinstated the time before last, so I don't want to push it!



Also, to me, 'Them', i.e. the 'Chatteratti', mainly inhabit S, C&P

Right at the bottom, there are just a few that I consider far lower who think they hover far above the rest of us.

On a slightly more serious note, I can't see why there should be any pecking order, or why anyone should be bothered about it.

.... which is exactly why you don't make the grade and reside so far down the tree that you barely register on my radar!

Is suggest there is never a single, true pecking order, but one within each of our minds. Where two or more match the effect is amplified.
