When I'm out and about cycling or walking in London, I see a lot of old bikes ( 10 years plus approx) and they all seem to be DAWES.

They range from old hybrids to old racers. Are old DAWES bikes really popular.

Dawes are the Toyota of the cycling world.

They're not flashy but they're well made and totally functional.

That's why they're popular with high mileage cyclists like tourers/commuters/audaxers.

There's an old (94/95ish) Marin San Rafeel knocking about near to where I used to park my bike, I took it as a good omen as I first spotted it the day after I ordered my current Marin ^_^
