I have managed to get a pedal stuck and when freeing it totally shredded the thread on pedal arm so a pedal aint going in no more. I was wondering what part I would need to order, likely cost etc. Thanks in advance.

IF drive side it will be a new crank usually as buying parts can cost more than whole thing, if it is non drive then most likely just the crank leg which is shimano 105 I think, should have a size written on it.

Who put the pedals on as that's where the damage was probably caused.

yes unfortunately its the drive side, so it looks like I will need Shimano 105 5750 Compact 10sp Chainset which is about £105, is this a difficult job how much will my lbs charge me? I fitted the pedal so its down to me.

Can swap them over in about 5 mins but keep the chain rings of the old crank as you can use them again if they are not worn , you might be able just to buy the crank leg for that side as well , you can also get a tiagra crank for under £50 as well.

Not sure what lbs would charge

Ok its a relatively easy job so labour costs
Should not be too high. Will check out the tiagra it is alot cheaper. I have done a quick search for just the crank arm but cant seem to find it to buy on its own .
