Pedal for Scotland 2012

Loads of folk have done it in years gone by - indeed, it was the birthplace of all CC Forum Rides.

Do a search for it on CC - there are plenty of posts from all the years it has been done !

It has rather become a victim of its own success, with so many non-regular riders doing it that it can be quite dangerous trying to make your way through the crowds and some shocking/not very good cycling "skills" on display. The sheer numbers put a real strain on the food/drink stops too.

This is not meant to put you off - but it is a ride to do as a gentle pootle, rather than as a 'serious' ride.
