Hello cycle mates,
Just wanted to report that I have completed the P2P 2022 with Royal British Legion this month (1st to 4th sept). This time I was better prepared. Jumped into the van thrice - going up the dover hill on 1st day. Couple of hills on 2nd day. The last hill before descending into paris on 4th day.
Rest I cycled though i was in the slowest group and needed pushes for some of the other hills. But this time i felt more tired and the roads felt never bloody ending!!!!
However it was very very satisfying riding into Paris and into the Arc with our huge peloton of almost 300 cyclists. Thanks for all the support i received from this group and so patiently answering all my questions!
If anyone is preparing for any challenges please share what you are doing 🥰

Well done!

I have a possible London-Glasgow ride in the planning. However, it may be that nothing will come of it. Still, I'm having fun messing around with routes

The prep bit is very enjoyable or not ! 😜
London glasgow is how long ? Over how many days r u planning

About 850km over 6 days. Route is mainly dictated by people I know who I can stay with. Fortunately they seem to live in the flat bits which keeps the route quite level.

A flat route ? Sounds very tempting 😊
