Got these today I take it they do two types then 2s and 3s

And these are 2s

If you mean spds then yup you need spds shoes the ones with the recessed cleats

Do you mean SPD(two bolt) and SPD-SL(three bolt)?
If so then they are SPD pedals for two bolt SPD shoes.

Have these, used them throughout the year and they stand up well to all the sh*t and cr*p that the British weather can throw at them!!!
Would recommend squirting some decent grease into them tho! :O)
