They may be abbreviating the phrase. Going to Tesco's implies a persons is visiting Tesco's store.

See that's where you are wrong anjd don't think you get my point. Evans is called Evans. It's not called Evan. Tesco is called Tesco and Asda is called Asda.

The point I'm making is the people I'm referring to would say "I'm going to Evanses"
