  1. I heard a song on the radio last night ( 7 years, Lukas Graham)

It's one of those songs that rings very true, but I was amazed that he wasn't black. I hadn't seen him, before I heard him, and that is the sort of soulful voice I've rarely heard, from an artist who wasn't black.

Maz had a Manager once who was from Northern Ireland, sounded a lot like Ian Paisley when in reality he was a little skinny Indian guy, lovely bloke but that voice.

When I worked for MFI thirty five years ago, I once ignored a SE Asian customer who was addressing me with an Ian Paisley accent. He looked very confused as I was searching over his shoulder for the source of the Ulster accent only to find that there were no other customers at the counter. The dissonance blew my mind.

I was surprised that @vernon looked and sounded like this......

Mind you, I'd had a few glasses of sauvignon at the time.

This is an interview of @Rockymountain describing the medical mishap that altered his life forever. He took particular pains to learn Dutch for the interview as the appearance fee was difficult to refuse.
