"We use battery powered bolt-on Dutch style rack mounted LED rears with rechargeables. Hard to break and can't be stole."

That's exactly what I'm looking for but as a front light. Source?

Two rather vast photos. But that's what it was. Anyone know?

I have a rear carrier reflector/light which is a bolt on and forget, it has an auto function which will come on when it gets dark...but it all to easy to leave it on auto and it stays on all night in the dark garage!
Similar one like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=14P1TY4JVRJPD11XWH5T
I just got one of the Cateye 560/570 front lights which was going for £10 online. It looks like a thick reflector, has a cateye slot for attachment, supposed to go on a handlebar mount but I was hoping to permanently fix it to the wheel reflector mount somehow.

Cyclestore have the front 560 & 570 for £9.90 & £12.50

Im moving all of our commuting bikes over to dynamo hub driven led lamps one by one. Its such a joy to just get on and pedal and the light comes on. Simples. No more lost or dead battery lights for us.
This. I have a hub dynamo on the Brompton, with B&M lights with a light-sensor. I get on and ride, if it gets dark the lights come on. True fit-and-forget.

I'm waiting for the rumoured combined hub-brake/dynamo before doing the same on the trike.

That seems to be something like what I'm after yes. Could be very useful. Anyone used one? reviews?

I'm not looking for a main light. I want a reliable supplementary for when the main light breaks.

Yes, I got them on my main commuter as simply a backup rear light. I've also installed them on my wife's dutch bike. Again, it's simply as a backup. The great thing is once installed you forget about them they're on all the time and need no maintenance nor any drag on the wheels.
